Trouble shooting

1.

I cannot see the full image on my camera LCD and only see a circle and the rest of the LCD is dark. How to take pictures like those shown on your website?

A:

This might be because you did not adjust to the biggest optical zoom in your camera. Please remember to switch to the biggest optical zoom when you turn on your camera. Please check here for the instructions.

2. There are many noises on my photos. Why?

A:

One of the reasons is the ISO speed is too high. Please set a lower speed to prevent the noise. When using a low speed, the exposure will take longer. Therefore, users need to be careful about the stability while taking pictures. The other reason for too many noises might be users adjust the cameras in the digital zoom not just the optical zoom. In this case, please switch back to the biggest optical zoom for a better quality of images

3. My pictures are blurred and not as clear as those shown on your website.

A:

One of the possible reasons is the pictures are out of focus. Please make sure the green focus frame has shown in the center of the camera LCD. If you see the yellow frame instead, this means you do not get the focus and please try to focus again. You might need to move X-Loupe upward or downward a little big to find the best focus.

4. The color seems to be not as good as the real one.

A:

This might be due to the camera settings. Please click here to see the suggested camera settings for X-Loupe. The other reason might be the setting of white balance. You might need to reset white balance if the color is not correct. First, go to the “Func./Set” button and select White Balance. Move to “Custom” in white balance. Second, point your camera to the white paper or white cloth. Make sure the white image is filled in the whole LCD and press the “Menu” button to reset white balance.

5.

What if my Canon camera is broken and I am not able to find the original model to replace?

A:

If your Canon camera is delivered by us and the malfunction is not caused by human error, the repair is free if the camera is still under the warranty. If the warranty expires, we will give you a quotation first before you consent the repair. If the damage is not able to repair or the original model can not be found in the market, please click here to contact us for further assistance.

6. Why the quality of the pictures shown on your website does not look so good?

A:

If the internet connection is slow, it will take much longer for users to browse websites, especially those with many big-volume photos. Therefore, we downsize those pictures shown on our website in order to give viewers a quick access to our website. The resolutions of photos taken by X-Loupe can reach 7, 8 or 10 mega pixels, and those should be able to satisfied users’ needs for the image quality. However, this will make your browsing slow if we put the same-sized photos online. That is why those photos you see on our website seem to be less good as they should be.
